Technology is the means to bring science to society
Every day we investigate the relationship between technical advancement and its impact on people and environment. By using upcoming technologies in a sustainable way, we can land on unprecedented outcomes. And maximise human well-being.
The challenges we face with Rosemary Fourth research lab projects are our small contribution.
HUMAN BEINGS AND WORK
The research topic in this area aims to understand how information-enabling technologies (cloud computing, big data, machine learning), automation, advanced manufacturing technologies and human-centered design can support human workers operating in various industrial environments.
Other projects are connected with our purpose to include seamlessly the social innovation into the Fourth Industrial Revolution. We are analysing the impact of current technology on agriculture, automotive and healthcare sectors.
Empowering women to participate in economic life across all sectors is essential for building stronger economies, achieve internationally agreed goals for development and sustainability, and improve the quality of life for women, men, families, and communities.
With this topic, we try to contribute to UN’s Sustainable Development Goal number 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls.
